Join us at the 2022 NYC Bike Film Festival at the Tribeca Synagogue. We will be seeing the 'Cycle For Change Shorts / The Street Project' films on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 4pm.
CYCLE FOR CHANGE / THE STREET PROJECT ⎮ 94min. These films highlight the change makers, the advocates, and the activists who are pushing the bike movement forward in their communities. Followed by the feature film, The Street Project.
We'll be seeing the following films:
THE BLACK FOXES - Dir. B. Monet ⎮ USA 15min. The Black Foxes is an international collective of Black cyclists reclaiming the freedom and joy of the outdoors.
YOU CAN’T DO IT ALONE - Dir. Brady Lawrence ⎮ USA 12min.
Olympian and queer cyclist, Lea Davison tackles the infamous 200-mile Unbound Gravel Race, proving that you don’t have to choose between who you love and the sport you love.
AS WE HAVE ALWAYS DONE - Dir. Kiki Ong ⎮ USA 15min. A showcase of cycling stories that revolve around mobility justice, racial justice, and liberation.
THE STREET PROJECT - Dir. Jennifer Boyd ⎮ USA 52min. A view of the global, citizen-led fight to make our streets safer while giving a realtime look at human behavior on our streets. An array of experts including street historian Peter Norton, city planner Jeff Speck, urban design expert Mikael Colville-Andersen, legendary cycling advocate Dulcie Canton, and more dig deep into the root causes of traffic violence.
