This ride is generally more relaxed than the other rides, with more spots to stop and take in the scenery. The Cuomo Bridge (🎥) is definitly one of places where we'll want to stop and take in the view.
The ride starts at a park a few blocks from the GW Bridge, goes up the greenway to get to Riverdale. In Van Cortlandt Park we enter the South County Trail, which becomes the North County Trail as we pass Tarrytown. We turn around at Briarcliff and head back to Tarrytown.
Once over the Cuomo Bridge the group heads to Piermont, and then down 9W, past Market Diner, to Lamont Campus to do the (unavoidable) hill climb. Immediately after Lamont we'll head to State Line Lookout. After exiting at the south end onto 9W everyone rides River Road to the picnic at Fort Lee Historic Park just south of the G.W. Bridge.

To shorten the ride by 10 miles, take the Tarrytown connector from the North County Trail to the Cuomo Bridge (🎥) Then head through Piermont and take a bonus ride through Tallman Mountain State Park trails. After Tallman, do the hill climb in Columbia's Lamont campus, heading to State Line Lookout, and finally down River Road to Fort Lee Historic Park for the picnic.

To extend the ride to 70 miles, you can take the 61 mile route to the Briarcliff Library and then change to "The Chappaqua Add-On" route, and then resume the 61 route at the end of the 9 mile add-on route.
