We've got even more hills for that...
We'll meet at J. Hood a few blocks from the GW Bridge. From there, we head up the the streets of Upper Manhattan to the Bronx. We will enter the South County Trail in Van Cortlandt Park, which becomes the North County Trail as we pass Tarrytown. We loop around at Chappaqua then go back to Tarrytown.
Once over the Cuomo Bridge we'll regroup to refuel/rehydrate at Coffee Ride Cafe (or spot of choice). We will then go through Piermont, down 9W, past 9W Market, to Lamont Campus to do the everyone's favorite hill climb!
Immediately after Lamont we should be able to enjoy bonus ride through Tallman Mountain State Park trails (not indicated on the cue sheet) down River Road. We'll regroup at Strictly Bicycles where it will be riders choice. You can grab a nosh, and enjoy a post-ride picnic at Fort Lee Historic Park or peace-out for the comfort of a nice epsom salt bath at home.

Hey! I was taking a look at the ride plan and there might be two portions that are closed. One is the greenway north of the GWB (latest I see is on this reddit comment from a month ago). The second one we might be able to deal with more easily by taking 9W but there's a part of Henry Hudson Drive that's closed in general between Englewood Picnic Area and Undercliff Picnic area and further on weekends up to the Alpine Picnic Area (according to the Advisories here: https://www.njpalisades.org/). This all might be outdated/they might have reopened but thought I'd bring it up anyway.

I can confirm that the Hudson Greenway is closed above 181 st. There are no really good detours. You can take Broadway all the way up to Dykeman, which could be ok that early on a Saturday.
Additionally, Henry Hudson Drive had been closed, but bikes could get through. I haven't done it since September so I'm not sure if that's still an option. When cyclist could get through, the southern part was pretty rough with asphalt broken up so you had to rider on the brick underlayer. It was slow going since there were a lot areas were there is a sharp 3 or 4 inch drop from asphalt to brick. You can see if it's closed off, but you might be better off just going down 9W after State Line Lookout. Even if it's open, be very cautious.

Thanks Peter and Ivan! I'll update the cue sheet. In hindsight, doing the picnic after a 70 mile ride maaaay have been a little bullish lol. We'll see how everyone is feeling Saturday. It's an easy-add on

Well, I'm just a sucker for a picnic, or at least an icy cold beverage after a day of cycling. I'll plan to leave my car in Fort Lee Park with an assortment of beers (alc and non alc), ciders, water, and other tasty treats. We can decide on the ride, but if you have the energy we can head down to the water and grab a cold bevie. I'll also bring my bike rack for those that want a taxi ride back up to the GW. Now isn't that 5-star service :) See you tomorrow.
