Join us for one last beautiful summer ride exploring the best of the Jersey Shore, rural landscapes, and beachside towns—all starting with a relaxing ferry ride across the Hudson!
Ferry Meet-Up Options:
🕗 8:20 AM – East 35th Street Ferry Terminal or
🕣 8:35 AM – Wall Street/Pier 11 Ferry Terminal

We’ll arrive in Highlands, NJ at 9:20 AM, where we’ll meet our New Jersey-based riders to begin the cycling adventure.
65 Mile Ride Highlights:
🚲 We'll head west through Middletown, then south through peaceful, rural countryside—expect charming horse farms and quiet backroads in Tinton Falls and Wall Township.
🚲 We'll then go east toward the shore and cruise along the beach, stopping for lunch in vibrant Asbury Park—plenty of great food options and seaside charm!
🚲 After lunch, riders can park their bikes at an OC Member's House (or along the boardwalk) and suit-up for a fun day at the beach.
Once we've soaked up some rays, we'll head up the coastline passing through Long Branch, and Monmouth Beach before returning to Highlands.

40 Mile RIde Highlights
🚲 Kick off with a scenic loop around Sandy Hook for gorgeous coastal views.
🚲 We'll head south through Sea Bright, then continue south on a mix of bike paths and local streets to Long Branch, NJ. Regroup spot is a beach stand overlooking the ocean.
🚲 From there it is a straight shot south on a local road with a wide bike lane down to Asbury Park where we will look to meet up with the 65 mile riders to enjoy lunch together.
🚲 After lunch, riders can park their bikes in the backyard of an OC member's House (or along the boardwalk) and suit-up for a fun day at the beach.
Once we've soaked up some rays, we'll head up the coastline passing through Long Branch, and Monmouth Beach before returning to Highlands.

*Though not required, riders interested in enjoying some sand and surf should to bring a swimsuit and towel.

Note: Be sure to arrive at your chosen ferry terminal at least 10-15 minutes early to ensure smooth boarding.

Hey guyz!
I'd like a head count for the 65 ride and 40 mile ride .. I find that it would be a much easier place to meet in the highlands stop for the ferry. And those who want to go to the hook can ride 1 mile to the hook and those of us who are going to 65 can start our ride from there. Those coming from New Jersey have a better place to park then trying to get into Sandy Hook which is a pay Park and very crowded. Anyone have any thoughts??

I was planning on doing the 65 mile route like last time. But I'm a little concerned about buying tickets for a Sandy Hook arrival/departure because those are reserved seats and the ferry to Highlands is not like that. I don't exactly know what happens or if they'll honor the tickets if we miss the ferry again.

Yes Eric.. all the more reason to get highland tickets and not Sandy Hook. I propose we all go to Highlands.. then we can all ride over to the hook loop. The hook and those to the 65 will come back over the bridge. Those that aren't can go straight to Asbury and we will meet in Asbury and then all of us together will come back to the highlands because we will have all done the hook. Sound good??

i am planning on doing the 65 ride. so the plan is to meet at the ferry and get tickets to Highlands? or to meet at the Highlands? this is my first time with fhe group and i look fwd to meeting you all.

I'm planning to ride 65 miles! I had to cancel my last ride to NJ so still have my highlands stop tickets, so it would be ideal for me to ride from Manhattan to the highlands stop. Look forward to seeing everyone!

HI - I am planning to do the 40 and my friend Jimmy S. will do it as well. We will both be in Asbury Park already so we will plan to meet the group at the Seastreak Terminial in Highlands. Not sure if we will do the Sandy Hook loop or go straight down the coast to Asbury. TBD.

Excited to see everyone Saturday. It turns out I'm already going to be in Asbury Park Saturday morning, so I will ride up to meet everyone in Highlands at 9:20. I have a round trip ticket for me and my bike from Manhattan to the Highlands stop I can offer someone.
