Congratulations on your first class and welcome to your second class. On this ride we will continue to learn to ride as a group. I will go into more depth about the mechanics of your bike, choosing the bike that is right for you, the importance of a professional bike fitting, techniques on shifting and braking, and how to maintain it for a great riding experience. And of course it is an extra opportunity to ask questions.
Our ride will go from Battery Park all the way up the Hudson Greenway to Inwood. The ride is about 17 miles up to Inwwod Overlook Park and 17 miles back down to the Battery. There are a number of subway stations along the West side, so you do not have to complete the full 35 miles.
