This route has a completely diferent start from the longer route and probably won't rendezvous the others until the very end. 36 mile riders head off over the George Washington Bridge, get off 9W, and take surface streets up to Tallman Mountain State Park to get a view of the new Mario Cuomo bridge. Then we ride south doing the hill climb in Columbia's Lamont campus, after which we'll go to State Line Lookout, and finally down River Road to Fort Lee Historic Park for the picnic with the other riders.

This was a truly wonderful ride! In addition to sharing the streets with the cars, we also rode over the bridge, in the park, and by the water! We got to see a snake 🐍 , deer 🦌 and eagles 🦅 and enjoyed beautiful views of the Hudson River and NYC . Best part: it was an amazing group of riders 💜
