DELAYED START TIME BY 1/2 HOUR
We will leave from Prospect Park, head along the South Brooklyn Waterfront, through Coney Island, The Rockaways, and finally to Riis Beach in The Rockaways. Part of the ride will be along Brooklyn streets, part will be the bikeway along the river and Jamaica Bay.
The ride home will be shorter up Bedford Ave. If you would prefer a shorter day, you can take the ferry from Rockaway to Sunset Park or Manhattan Pier 11or take the subway.
There are plenty of places to stop along the route, but since it isn't quite the Summer season The Boardwalk consessions may not all be open. We'll stop for lunch in Rockaway but suggest you bring enough snacks and water to be on the safe side.

THE RIDE IS ON!
I realize there is a 30-50% chance of rain overnight and up until 8am tomorrow, but the rest of the day looks pretty good. I personally don't mind a cloudy ride!

Good morning! Woke up to a little bit of rain, which should end by 10am leading to a partly sunny and pleasant rest of the day.
I am delaying our meet/start time by half an hour.
