We had great time with this Tuesday evening ride, so I'm planning to repeat it with a few modifications. Still planning to do about 4 loops around Central Park. We may break up into smaller groups by speed, but we'll regroup at the end of the 4th loop at the base of Harlem Hill and head over to Roti Roll for some food. I'm not married to this place, and there are other options around there. This past week the Peace Fountain was closed, but we were able to dine on the steps of St. John's. We kept talking through the Hungarian pastry shop's closing time, so we'll need to visit there a little earlier if we plan to get a treat.
There will be two start time spots:
- 6:15 PM - Here next to the green bike rental kiosk at the southeast entrance of the park. I (Johnny) will be here at 6:00 PM.
- 6:30 PM - North entrance (Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd.) to Central Park at the bottom of Harlem Hill. Those who started on the south end at 6:15 PM will stop and connect with folks. If you plan to meet us at the north end, please let us know in the comments below so that we know to stop.
Please remember to bring your helmet and your water bottle.
