Easy ride down the Putnam (Empire) Trail

If you want to get out in nature and have a lovely car-free ride down the Putnam Trail (aka Empire, North County, South County Trail) and you're not afraid of a little cold - this should be a great ride.
We'll be doing the portion of this route starting in Brewster (skipping the first ~40 miles of the route):

It is possible to cut the ride short around mile 28 in Pleasantville, but you should be comfortable with cold weather riding since that's about 3 hours into the ride. It looks like temps will be ~45º at the start and go up to ~55º by the time we get to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
The trail is completely paved (this is not a gravel ride).
Even though this isn't a gravel ride, I've cross-listed the ride with Gravel NY. So some non-LGBT folks may be on the ride.

Good news! The forecast improved since I posted the ride. Temps look like they'll be ~5º warmer and the chance of rain is now really low.
If you're catching MetroNorth at 125, I'll be waiting above 126th Street.
