Spring training series? Done and dusted. Pride Ride? Conquered. Pride weekend? Glorious pandemonium. July 4th weekend? Awkward silence about the state of the union.
It's time to get back in the saddle. This will be a very standard 9W run to Nyack and back. I like this route because sometimes it's nice to not to have to think about the route too much. I'll assume responsibility for riders starting at Strictly and going to Nyack and back. How you get to Strictly to start the ride or get home after is a choose-your-own-adventure situation.

If you strictly (ha!) do the route above then it's just 36 miles. 50-60 assumes you're doing some miles to get to and from the start.
This ride is open to all riders who can comfortably ride 16MPH on a flat road or faster. While I did cheerfully lead the faster riders on the longer routes during STS, the pace of this ride will be based on who shows up. This is a no drop ride in the sense that I will ensure no one is dropped. I usually like to rest around 30 minutes in Nyack and that clock doesn't start until the final rider rolls in.
7:45am is the meetup time at Strictly Cycles in Jersey. We will be pedals moving around (but not before) 8am,.
Other meet up spots:
I can collect riders at the following times and places if given a heads up:
6:45am: 79th Street and the West Side Highway bike path (right there at the rotary).
7:20am: the Citi Bike station that's right before the sidewalk portion leading to the bike ramp to the GW Bridge.
While I can promise this ride won't set off from Strictly before 8am, I cannot say the same about the above times along the way. Please do take care to leave a comment on this post or send me a note saying you're going to be at one of the above spots along the way, otherwise I will be in my own little bubble and not stop.
