UPDATE: The location of the picnic has been changed from Tallman Mountain State Park to the Fort Lee Historic Park just south of the George Washington Bridge.
Summer Training for 2020 wouldn't be complete without a ride over the new Cuomo Bridge (🎥).
Metric Century Riders ride up the South County Trail and then continue on the North County Trail to Briarcliff Manor (where we used to have the STS picnic). Then they take some lovely surface streets south to Tarrytown where they cross the bridge and then head through Piermont then through Columbia's Lamont campus, then they go to State Line Lookout, and finally down River Road to the GW Bridge and the picnic at Fort Lee Historic Park.

The route starts at the GWB, but the meeting point is at the Payson Playground. Can we change the meeting point to Cabrini & 177th St.?

Jonathan – You're not going crazy. When it was a spring training series we had everyone starting together at the bridge. But when each group got it's own start time we moved the starts to Inwood except for the Easy Riders who aren't going into Westchester County – they still start at the bridge. So older versions of the route had a Cabrini start.
