Hello lovelies,
This ride takes us from Tarrytown to Cold Spring via the rolling hills and mountains of Harriman State Park.
7/13 update:
I have decided we will be taking the 60.5 mile route, the final version of which is here:

The plan is to train to Tarrytown, ride along the route to Cold Spring, lunch in Cold Spring, and then train back to the city.
If it rains on July 17th then the rain date will be Sunday, July 18th.
All riders at all speeds are welcome. I cruise along around 15-17 MPH on the flats with no wind but I'm a pretty slow climber so all are welcome.

Hi all.. I'm new to OutCycling and this will be my first ride with the group. I'll plan to be on that 6:15ish train -- anything special to know about train logistics? I haven't taken anything (Metro North?) from Grand Central before.

Hi Jason. I live in Westchester but work in the City. Be sure you look at the train schedule for the Hudson line which will bring you to Tarrytown NOT the Harlem or New Haven. It's a civilized train ride! It will be an off peak ride and most likely take an hour since it's the weekend. Buy your ticket before boarding, less expensive. Look forward to meeting you and doing this ride! Anna

Hi everyone,
If planning to take Metro North from Grand Central be sure to take the 6:45am on the Hudson Line.
I'll be at Grand Central starting at 6:15am and will wait by the big clock in the middle until 6:30am and then I'll leave to board the train. You're welcome to meet me at the clock or board the train on your own.
ill rally everyone together at 7:30am in the parking lot outside the Tarrytown Metro North station and that's when and where I will check everyone in.
The night before the ride I'll shoot a note to everyone who has RSVPed with my contact information.
