Same comment as raised on the Nyack ride: Why start at Strictly? Of the three already registered, two are in Manhattan, one is in Queens, and I'm in Brooklyn, 20 miles from Strictly. You can't be worried about calculating the total distance of a ride when people are coming from all over, but Strictly is only accessible by bike or car, so you unless you're advocating car use, you know riders will be starting from some distance from Strictly. I suggest meeting near subway stops, like 125th at Hudson Greenway, so people can arrive at the starting point by bike or subway and start the mile count from there.

Makes sense to me to start in the city.

Wallace… The ride was designed with a (Manhattan side) GW Bridge start. That's where the RWGPS route starts. Because of COVID we broke up the start times and locations to reduce the group size of each group. This week some group start on Cabrini, others start at Strictly. Most everyone in the club knows how to get to Strictly. It's been the start point for MANY of the club's rides. For those who haven't been there, the RWGPS route tells them how to get there.
As far as distances… The fact that certain people need to ride further to the start (and from the finish) should be calculated into which route they take each week. You're not committed to ride with the same group each week.
