Welcome to your third and final class of Intro to Cycling. In this class we will cover the basics of defensive riding with traffic. We will have some riding on roads to give you experience but the road have been carefully chosen to avoid chaotic traffic. We will be riding in bike friendly Brooklyn from Grand Army Plaza under the arch at the north end a Prospect Park, to Coney Island’s famous Nathans Hot Dog stand. All rides meet at 8:45 and start at 9 AM. This is a 21 mile ride on mostly flat terrain, though prospect park, lots of bike lanes, and down Ocean Parkway Bike Path, one of the oldest bike paths in the country. PS. If you want, you can always take the train home. We won’t tell anyone. So bring your lunch money and Ride On!!!!
