Come with us for a week of biking, sightseeing, wine tasting, touring and relaxing in beautiful Provence in southern France. We are partnering with veteran cycle tour company, Ciclismo Classico, who has put together an itinerary that couples 5 days of cycling with some sightseeing and plenty of good food.
The trip begins in Avignon, once home of the Popes, and takes us riding through the Cotes du Ventoux, Chateauneuf du Pape, Mazan, the Gorge de la Nesque, Gordes, and St. Rémy de Provence with plenty of stops in small towns along the way. All along the way, you’ll be treated to beautiful views over rolling countryside. If you want to test your climbing skills, Day 3 has an optional loop to the top of Mt. Ventoux, bringing the day’s climbing total to 6100 feet! If you’ve ever done Bear Mountain, you can do Mt. Ventoux too, and the view from the top will be even better.
This is a trip for those who like to eat! Breakfast and dinner are included daily, but the gastronomic emphasis is on dinner. Lunch is provided the first day, and then Ciclismo Classico will steer us in the right direction for lunches thereafter on our own. In addition to cycling and eating, there are a few sightseeing extras, including a walking tour of St. Paul de Mausole where van Gogh spent his last days and a cooking demonstration prior to dinner at Restaurant L’Oulo in Mazan. Accommodations will be in comfortable hotels, one a converted chateau.

I will be going to Paris right after the ride is over I have not booked the train yet but will soon. I will be in Paris for the night and then fly back to NYC on Saturday

Hey,
I got a 10:04 train from Avignon to Paris. Our van is scheduled to leave the hotel at 9AM. It's a 30min ride to the train. Should be fine. If there's a problem, there are Ubers. Depending on your train we can split it if you want.

Also, you can download the SNCF Connect app on your phone and get your tickets there. If you book online and create an account, your tickets will show up on the SNCF Connect app when you log in. You can then go paperless.
