"Join us for our annual New Year's ride to City Island, ride is somwhere between Happy Face and Moderate and mostly using the greenway systems in the Bronx, we will visit Orchard Beach and ride the claw and hope to spot some Narwhals on the beach! Lunch will be at the Snug Tavern where there is something for everyone so please bring money for lunch.

I'm not planning another starting point, especially since I'll probably take the subway to Van Cortlandt, but I'll formally post another start if you want to create one.

I'm glad you're coming! The expected end time at Van Cortlandt is 3pm. The organizer said some riders will cross Broadway for a beer at the end.
The exact start spot is The Van Cortlandt House Museum, 6036 Broadway, Van Cortlandt Park, The Bronx. Nearest subway is the 242nd St station on the 1 train. Enter the park from Broadway and about 245th St. Paths will take you to the House Museum.

I'm very sorry to say something's come up tomorrow and I won't be able to make the ride! Have a wonderful trip, everyone. I would love to do this itinerary some other time soon.
