Meet at an agreed convenient location typically near Times Square, and assemble swag, to distribute to kick off party at 5 pm - 7:30 pm. Friday June 6th
Distribute swag bags and jerseys at the Pride Ride kick off party. 6pm, Location will be sent closer to event.
Help load trucks for rest stop on the day before the Pride Ride. Details will be sent closer to ride!
Arrive at the start location on ride day between 6am and 7am (as needed) and help unload the supply truck, set up food tables, put up tents, check-in riders, serve breakfast. Approx. 4 hours.
Help make sure everyone on the 50 mile ride gets to the end of the ride by providing support if you can and are about to pass someone in need - at least staying with them until SAG support if needed has been provided.
Looking for 2-4 Marshalls supporting and guiding the 65 mile riders - Must be at start location 9:00 AM. Must have exceptional navigating and cycling skills and be able to support the riders during any emergency.
Arrive towards the end of the long day and help break down tents, clean up food and festival area, reload supply trucks. Approx. 2 hours.
You will be assigned to one of our rest stops to help set up food, tables and tents. Distribute food and drink to riders. Approx. 3-6 hours, depending on how much time you can offer. Car transport will be available, but if you have your own car, even better!
You have a vehicle, with a bike rack (or we can lend you one if you need) or capacity to carry bikes and people... this role is stationed at rest stops and helps retrieve anyone with a serious problem on the route to bring them where they can be supported. Not medical emergencies - those are handled by 911.
Various tasks will be assigned within ICM to add support beyond that of the basic ride to the students on the ride.
