Coney Island Beach Ride

and Mermaid Parade

Meet on the Bike Path on the West Side of Manhattan. Ride downtown and over the Brooklyn Bridge. From there ride through many uniquely Brooklyn neighborhoods, before heading to the pier in Bay Ridge for a spectacular view of the New York Harbor and Lady Liberty. Then ride the protected bike path along the Brooklyn Coastline out to Coney Island (approx 15 miles).

Upon your arrival at Coney Island, you will be greeted by an Outcycling volunteer, whom will lock and watch your bike, while you explore the boardwalk, hit the beach and hang out under the Outcycling Canopy for a nice lunch, refreshments and drinks and camaraderie. The ride officially ends at 2pm…which is when the famous Coney Island Mermaid Parade begins on the Boardwalk. Questions? - send to info@outcycling.org
